Name: Wiverae (Weh-verr-ay) plural/ Wivere (weh-verr) singular
Exclusive Gender?: Both females and males.
Diet?: Wiverae eat anything they can hunt like animals, ect. They also are fond of vegetation.
General Appearance/Distinct Traits: Their skin is very pale, and their hair is a light cyan. Their eyes are all crimson.
They all have different coloured scales (well, more then one family can have green scales, but they are usually in different shades)
Age in proportion to human years: A Wiverae year is twenty-six human years. The oldest living Wivere is six-thousand years old.
General location/habitat: The Wiverae like cold and rocky climates, that’s why most live in the mountains. They are spread out through different rocky regions in different countries.
Unique Abilities: Wiverae young have no power until they grow into teenagers, over that time they are taught how to focus energy into sprouting wings, and then from there they learn to fly.
Only an adult has the power to transform into a wyvern, and this is through extensive years of mastering the art of transformation. (Wyverns: horse-sized dragons, most have only two legs and wings, unlike a western dragon that has four legs and wings.)
Brief History: The first Wivere ever born was said to be from a Wyvern, though the reason they appeared half-human remains a mystery. Their hair and eyes are all the same (except for maybe a shade lighter or darker, or a shade more green or blue.), though half blooded may have different coloured hair, their eyes will remain red.
Their traditions are old-fashioned and they are a very proud yet discrete species. If their rules aren’t followed, they can disown a clan member.
Other Information I may need to know: Rogue Wiverae are Wivere’s that either left their clan or are disowned because they broke a law (murder, stealing, treason… ect). It would be rare to see a Wivere away from its clan other then it being a rogue, or lost while their clan began it's migration.
All Wiverae migrate to -insert country here- once a hundred years to meet with other clans.
Wiverae also have an ancient language that they speak, but because of the changes of the world since their time of the birth (what they refer to as the birth of the first Wivere), they've had to learn english and a number of other languages. Their names still remain strangley odd, another way to seperate them from another.
Open Creation: No, you must have permission before creating a Wivere.
