1) Profane language and adult content are allowed, but warn anyone if it is present. On the title of a roleplay with adult content, there should be a warning. Acceptable warnings include:
Unacceptable warnings include:
2) Don't continuously bump threads. If you want to bump a thread, please wait at least 1 day after your last post. After that, wait 2 days, then 4 if no one is posting. After that 4th day, however, if no one posts, the thread will be marked as dead and moved.
3) Please keep your posts long, detailed and interesting. If I see that too many people are posting short posts and I receive complaints, I will enforce a minimum-character-per-post rule.
4) Absolutely NO PPing and GMing! For those of you who are unfamiliar with what this means, I shall explain.
PPing, Power-playing, is the using of other people's characters without their permission. Example: "Cassidy hugged Steve, who hugged her back." That was a simple one.
GMing, god-moding, is having a perfect character. This tends to happen a lot in fights. Your character is NOT perfect. They need SOME weakness. If I catch you GMing, I will suspend you from RPing the GM character until you write a weakness into their Character Sheet.
5) Fights are a huge problem in a roleplay. When two characters are fighting, everyone thinks their own character is stronger. If your character does not get hurt after enough posts (unless for a perfectly good reason), I will count it as GMing. Do NOT write "She punched him" unless the other roleplayer agrees that their character can get hurt. If not, then you must write something like "She threw her fist at him, aiming her blow at his jaw."
6) The mature romance... You MAY rp it, but as mentioned before, PLEASE post a warning in the title and preferably in the first post.
7) RPing is allowed over PM if you want to keep some character relations secret. This is also a nce choice for Maturely-themed role plays.
8) Absolutely no chat speak unless in OoC.
9) Use an OoC and BiC. You MAY use the funny OoCs that people enjoy making like "OutOfCookies" and "BackInColor." An OoC may also be "(~Text~)." You are always allowed to be creative.
10) Each character may only be in one roleplay at a time! It keeps things more organized. Once the board is labeled as closed or dead, however, your character is free to move on to another roleplay.
11) Upon reading the rules, PM me a message with a Subject "Potatoes."
Check for more updates later. I'll post on the Side Panel if and when the Rules have been changed.
