Mesec Vracar slipped through the sleaze that covered the streets of this horrid town. She ft right in here. Getting money off of murderers was easy, as they often enjoyed making their prey retell the tale to them, enjoying the hatred... But today was a slow day, and no one had asked her for anything yet. How odd. She spoke her claims among the busy streets, among the thugs. A few had asked for other services. She beat them senseless. "Fortunes, spirits, and ghost protection! Ive got everything you need here!"

The town was disgusting.. at best. Many men looked crafty and untrustworthy, others he wondered if they belonged there atall. Borris Harkov infact had his own buisness in this town. The statuesque man that stood over six foot ten towered almost everyone, hid muscles and bulky figure couldn't be concealed by his cloak, no matter how much he tried. A beautiful silver axe was strapped to his back, a carving on the long black onyx handle resembled a thorned vine. Borris was a hunter. But, unlike many hunters, he only hunted one kind of non-human. Werewolves. The very word made adreneline pump through his veins, his anger increase. The reason of this was a tragic story. His family, a beautiful wife and three strong children were taken from him in one night. It was by a man he beleived to be sick, he had taken him in... little had he known that he had been bitten by a werewolf, and began to change on that night. Why haddn't he died? Borris always asked that question... why his wife, Lillia? Why his sons, Bernard, Ivan and Franz? He swore on their blood that he would rid the world of werewolves, or die trying.
This exactly was why he was visiting Scelus. He had been told there was a certain werewolf problem in the area. Maybe only a half-blood, but that didn't matter to him.
As he walked down the street, and stopped by a young girl selling something. "Fortunes, spirits and ghost protection? You seem quite knowledgable. Please tell me... do you know the rumours of a werewolf hunting around these parts?" His voice was gruff, as was the rest of him, but there was a tinge of kindness in his eyes.

She chuckled a little as the bulky stranger approached her. He was obviously from out of town, carring that valuable ax with him. But with the man's obvious strength, she didn't think he had too much to worry about. Until he asked about them. She slapped her hand over his mouth with a hiss. "We can't talk about that here! Are you trying to get us both killed?" Mesec whispered, looking around nervously. And sure enough, the second Borris enquired about it, a few heads turned in his direction, none looking all too welcoming. "We can't talk about such matters here, otherwise ith information might fall into the wrong paws, if ya get what I'm saying. Just follow me." She said, walking casually towards an apparently abandoned building, noting special about it at all, until you got inside.

Borris frowned deeply, he didn't quite like the idea of being dragged to some shack. Finding information about the werewolf was important, but he wasn't overly fond of the rude girl. The large man shifted impatiently, remaining silent for only so long. "Is this where we are supposed to talk about such important matters?...." The mocking nature in his voice was fairly undetectable, he looked at Mesec. "Well?"

As he followed into the abandoned building, she was busy pulling up some floorboards. Mesec heard his mocking undertones (She had a knack for doing that...) and twiched in anger. "No, fool. Down here!" She said as she began climbing down a staircase that wasn't there before. "Where those beasts can't hear us..." She said with a scowl.
The staircase was suprisingly well lit and was filled with colorful designs, seeming peaceful.

Borris now was more suspicious then annoyed. He wasn't sure where this girl was leading him, or who she even was. What if it was a trap? The large man paused, almost forgetting who he was. He looked back at his axe assuringly, and continued down the steps.

She paid no attention to his hesitation. Most people did. She continued down the steps, until finally, they stooped and led into a bright room. A snarling was heard from within. "Eterno! Don't growl at the company, you foolish little Hellhound." She said at the large doberman like creature in the corner. It had a tail made of flames, as well as some around it's paws. Two ram's horns curled out from the top of it's head. The large female rolled her eyes and laid down again, though she eyed Borris's ax suspiciously.
There was a large fire in the fireplace (Connected to the fireplace of the main building, so they wouldn't suffocate.) ,and it's lite shone into most of the dark corners, filled with magical items of various importances. There was a small table at the center of the room, which she motioned for Borris to sit down at ,as she removed a tea kettle from over the fire and began preparing two cups of tea, without bothering to ask Borris if he liked tea or not. She really couldn't care less.

Borris grabbed his axe handle when he saw the hellhound, but relaxed his grip when Mesec addressed it. He looked around at the items on the shelves, thinking to himself as he did so. "Hn, you seem to make quite a buisness in this certain category. Now, enough of this stalling. I'm on an important mission. What information can you give me on the Werewolf said to plauge this town?!" He slammed his hands on the table, but his voice only raised a small amount. He didn't want to frighten the girl, or sick her Hellhound on him.

"Thakns, I have a lotta pride in my work." She said, setting the first cup of tea infront of Eterno, who immediately began lapping it up. She placed the other in front of Borris, then promply got herself some sherry and sat down. "/The/ Werewolf?" She said after taking a drink of the sherry. "Don't kid me. There's much more than one. There's an entire pack rooted here. They're the shadow kings of this town, and they have an elaborate network of informants." She paused to take another drink. "As you may have mnoticed with the murderous and/or greedy stared you got when you asked me in public."

Borris looked at the tea questionably, and let it sit for a moment. "An entire pack? Hn..." His eyes stared hard at his knees, considering if he shoul even continue without aid from his fellow Hunters in the neighboring town. He knew he could elminate two, maybe even three... but an entire pack could rane from a large number of werewolves. That would spell death for him. "What information do you have on them? Have you come into contact with them atall?"

"A bit, yes." She said taking another sip of her sherry. "The leader is Alayna Bloodstone ,also called Alayna the Cunning, a monster if there ever was one. She's smart. That's the problem. She uses her pack to her advantage, alowing safe passage for criminals at a fee of a few humans to prey on. She's horrible." Another drink. "And she already has two pups. Aravis the Timid and Zarh. Aravis is supposed to take over but she's a softie. Both are Halfbloods. Aravis has a human mind, but appears as a werewolf, and Zarh has the mind of a werewolf and the body of a human. Bad deal, eh?" Another drink. "But Alayna's your main problem. She has most of the town under her control, so we will need to be sneaky. Her pack is also pretty large..."

He was afraid of that. Borris took a drink of the tea slowly, still cautious about it. "That's troublesome. Most Werewolves I'm come into contact with are new to their abilities, and were pretty easy to eliminate... But someone like.. Alayna, was it? Sounds like a challenge indeed." He paused for a moment, appearing lost in thought. His eyes became as fiery as before, and he looked back at Mesec. "But not too big of a challenge for me, Borris! So, what will you have me do?"

"Hm... I could summon up a few sprits to spook them a little.... Or you could challenge the heir to a duel. Or Alayna herself." Another drink, calm as ever. "But Aravis would be best. She is young, and hates killing. Show them you have power, or something of that sort. Fighting Zarh would be no problem. He's merely insane... No challenge there. Alayna is too sneaky to fight one on one. So the Timid One is best." Another drink. "Finding them isn't hard. Leave it to me."

"Aravis, hm? ...Alright then." Though a bit discourage that he would be kiling the most timid first, he still felt a jolt ofadrenaline run through him. He took another drink of the tea ... maybe it wasn't too bad... He looked overat the Hellhound, now a bit off topic. "I thought these creatures were untameable."

She chucked a little. "Helhounds? They're very sweet creatures actually. They just need a little help." She said taking another drink. "You see, Hellhounds are spirts condemned for their lack of loyalty as a mortal. They become more human as they trust you, though none have ever been fully converted to a normal spirit. Eterno is coming close to human speech though. A great development." She smiled with pride. Eterno was the first major spirit she had ever summoned, and was her closest companion, though one of the least trustworthy.
